So, I have really wanted to paint on wood for quite a while, and today is the day! Peaches, about 4 x 5 on wood in oils. I look forward to creating more pieces on wood!!

Ooooo! It looks like spring around here. It's cloudy and rainy, but I see signs of spring popping up! This yummy lemon just makes me feel like spring is here. Hope it brings sunshine into your day too! This piece is made with acrylics, watercolors and pencils on a page out of The Wind in the Willows. It was then attached to a lovely wood tile.

I am out of town today, so I did a sketch/watercolor of tomatoes. Yummy yummy tomatoes which we also had in our sandwich today (thanks GG!) Here is the sketch on an ATC.

Okay, so some days I love my painting, and sometimes...I don't. So, I hate to make a judgment on my blog, but this is not my favorite. Off day. But I did take some risks, and I think I learn from those.
On to tomorrow!

So, I had planned to do a more abstract pear today, but I just enjoyed the color of this and wanted to keep it more realistic. Wonder what tomorrow will hold!
